Treespace is used for the comparison of phylogenetic trees (incongruence)

It can be downloaded as an R-package or used in a web browser

  • User tree data can be uploaded into web browser (R or nexus datafiles)
  • 8 tree summary methods and 4 clustering methods programmed in
  • Trees visualised in 2D or 3D Euclidean space
  • Clusters can be automatically identified
  • Can output data as svg, csv, nexus, R object or interactive html
  • Geometric median tree can be output as alternative to consensus tree or maximum clade credibility (MCC) tree
  • Simple user interface
